Here at the Glasgow Acting Academy we believe that drama and the performing arts not only allow for creative expression but also play a pivotal role in the development of many key areas of personal growth for children, teenagers and adults alike.
The role of the Glasgow Acting Academy is to not only facilitate and provide a safe environment for the students to learn and express their creative nature, but to also develop the key areas of their personal skills including: confidence, social and communication skills.
All classes within the Glasgow Acting Academy will combine elements of creative learning and personal development with the aim of the students becoming stronger and more confident in their approach to not only drama and the performing arts, but to life in general.
Further to the above, the Glasgow Acting Academy believe that each individual class of students have the right to work towards their own performance. We also believes that these shows should not be produced as a financial excercise, but as a real and tangible piece of theatrical production allowing the students to showcase their acting and performance abilities.
The Glasgow Acting Academy also believe that potential talent should be nurtured and given the best opportunity possible to florish and develop. It is our aim to identify students who exhibit advanced skills in drama and the performing arts and channel their energies and skills in the appropriate way should they so wish. The Glasgow Acting Academy prides itself in the fact that many of its students go on to study drama at a professional level, and it is our objective to fully prepare such students for a career in the creative and performance industries. |
